This is an Infra-red Swipe-type Bar Code reader housed in a metal casing. It is designed to work with EL22XX Door Access Controllers and ET12XX Time Recording Terminals, and will read bar code cards encoded in 3-of-9 format or ELID 2-of-5 interleaved format.
